While the world has gone digital, young independent music artists are releasing their music onto cassettes.
Australian music artist Setlla Donnelly has just been named triple j’s Unearthed Artist of the Year, says that releasing her music on cassette was more affordable than vinyl.
“Vinyl is very expensive, so for a first EP that would come at a massive cost, and unless you have a big label backing you it’s not feasible.
