Popular talk show Oprah Winfrey has made up her mind, and those of you who’ve been hoping she’d announce a run for the presidency will not be happy.

In an interview with CBS’ “60 minutes” set to air this weekend, the 64-year-old tells host Gayle King that she did not seriously consider the idea, despite pressure from others. Winfrey says that she sees herself as promoting justice, kindness, and goodwill.

She explains, “It never has felt to me that I was supposed to be political and it still does not feel that to me.”

Since wrapping up her longtime daily talk show in May 2011, Winfrey has kept busy with her own cable network and other business and entertainment ventures.

Close friend and “60 Minutes” host Gayle King does like “the sound of Presidency Winfrey” though, so maybe it’s better to “never say never!”
