Shelters Are Opening, Get Cash, Gas And Water….

Here’s the 5 AM advisory on Hurricane Matthew.   A Hurricane Warning is in effect from Golden Beach (northern Miami-Dade County) to the Volusia/Brevard county line.  This includes Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach County, the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee County.  That means hurricane force winds of 74 mph or higher are expected within 36-hours.  Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 125 mph with higher gusts.  Matthew is a category 3 hurricane, but some fluctuations in intensity are possible during the next couple of days.  Matthew is expected to remain a powerful hurricane through at least tomorrow night.  Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 175 miles. We should start seeing tropical storm conditions tonight into tomorrow morning. And then tomorrow late afternoon, we’ll start getting hurricane conditions.

Rest assured, we will keep you posted and be with you throughout the storm
