The “Little People” Invited to Royal Wedding

Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle are inviting ordinary people, the public to join them on their wedding day.

The couple will invite more than 2,640 members of the public to the grounds of Windsor Castle.

They’ll see the bride and groom and their guests arrive at St. George’s Chapel where the couple will be married on May 19th.

And they’ll watch the newlyweds leave in a carriage procession through the town of Windsor.

Kensington Palace says the couple wants to arrange their wedding day so the public…the little people… can be part of the celebrations.

About 1,200 of those invited will be members of the general public.

Around 200 will represent charities and other organizations supported by the couple, with local school children, residents of the Windsor community and members of the Royal Household making up the balance.
