US Coast Guard PBSO Rescues Three Boaters off Lake Worth

The U.S. Coast Guard and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office have rescued three people from the water this morning off the coast of Lake Worth.

“At 9:16 a.m., Coast Guard Station Lake Worth Inlet received a notification from the Palm Beach Police Department of two people being swept into the water at the Lake Worth Inlet. Watchstanders launched a Coast Guard Station Lake Worth Inlet 33-foot Special Purpose Craft Law-Enforcement crew who arrived on scene at 9:19 a.m. and rescued one person.”

The PBSO rescued the other person from the water.

The Coast Guard boatcrew transferred the rescued individual to local emergency medical services for further medical care.
