Another 17 Year Old Takes Home The Gold!

First 17 year old Red Gerard did it…now 17 year old Chloe Kim has taken home the GOLD  or the USA!    Chloe started snowboarding when her father decided he wanted to learn — and by age 5, he says she was already better than him. “He was still falling off the chairlift and I was cruising by him,” she said.  Chloe crushed everyone in the women’s halfpipe last night to win the Gold.  Her first run was  a 93.75, and no one came close to beating it.  But even though she’d already won Gold, she still did her final run . . . and got a 98.25.  Fellow American Arielle Gold won the Bronze.  And then Shaun White kicked off his fourth Olympics in the men’s halfpipe qualifying round last night, and made it into the finals .    The men’s halfpipe finals will air live in primetime tonight.
