Eddie Murphy’s Candy Cane Lane Gets December Release On Prime Video

With the release of his new movie Candy Cane Lane, Eddie Murphy is causing magical mayhem.
The festive comedy, which was written and directed by Kelly Younger, will make its worldwide Prime Video premiere on December 1. An all-star ensemble, including Tracee Ellis Ross, Nick Offerman, Robin Thede, and Chris Redd, co-stars with Murphy in his holiday film role.
The comedic legend plays Chris, a guy determined to win his neighborhood’s yearly competition for best Christmas decorations. A spell is done by Pepper, an elf played by Jillian Bell, to bring the 12 Days of Christmas to life when he unintentionally makes a pact with her to boost his chances of winning. The naughty ghost makes a move that causes mayhem across Chris’ whole village.
Chris, with assistance from his wife Carol (Tracee Ellis Ross) and their three children, races against time to break Pepper’s spell, battle cunning magical beings, and preserve Christmas in order to save his family’s holiday from being spoiled.
Thaddeus J. Mixson, Ken Marino, Genneya Walton, Madison Thomas, D.C. Young Fly, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, and Nancy Lenehan are also featured in the comedy.
Along with Brian Grazer, Karen Lunder, Ron Howard, Charisse Hewitt-Webster, and Brian Grazer, Murphy is an executive producer of Candy Cane Lane.
