West Palm Beach, FL – June 17, 2023 – Mark your calendars for an extraordinary celebration of unity, Black excellence, and the rich traditions of Juneteenth at the Meyer Amphitheater from 3:00-9:00 p.m. This not-to-be-missed event promises an unforgettable experience with a new installation component titled:The NeuroArts Freedom Project featuring an array of talented local artists.
This year’s event continues the tradition of showcasing the best and brightest small Black-owned businesses. From essential community vendors to retail, delectables, and unique food trucks we have it all. “Feel at home, cookout vibes, authentic love of the tradition of togetherness celebration amongst kindred” perfectly encapsulates the atmosphere of the festival. As you walk through the festival grounds, you’ll be enveloped in a warm and welcoming ambiance reminiscent of a family gathering. It’s an opportunity to connect with fellow attendees, share stories, and create lasting memories.
The Neuro Arts Freedom Project is a curated collection of captivating installations that showcase the brilliance and creativity of Black artists. From thought-provoking installations to mesmerizing paintings, the artwork will immerse attendees in a celebration of Black art, culture, and resilience. The festival aims to create an environment that fosters a deep sense of connection and pride in the African American community.
Located at 104 Datura St. in West Palm Beach, Florida, the Meyer Amphitheater will be transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity and cultural exchange. From 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. festival-goers will have the opportunity to explore installations, learn in pop museums, interact with the artists, vibe to local performers, and celebrate the significance of Juneteenth.
With an estimated attendance of 3,000 to 4,000 people, The 3rd Annual Juneteenth Unity x Black Excellence Festival promises to be an inclusive and joyous event. In addition to the Neuro Arts Freedom Project, the festival will feature over 30 Black-owned vendors, offering a wide range of food, crafts, and unique products that highlight the diverse talents and entrepreneurship within the community.
This South Florida Juneteenth Festival is more than just a gathering—it’s a momentous occasion to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrate their contributions to society. By showcasing Black art and supporting Black-owned businesses, this festival serves as a platform to amplify the voices and achievements of the Black community.
