Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation – South Florida Chapter – Keymorada Fishing Invitational

About The Event:
The Keymorada Invitational was the brainchild of two brothers; Mitchell Widom, a partner with Bilzin Sumberg, and Glenn Widom of Glenn L. Widom PA. The event was founded in 2005 after Mitch’s daughter Taylor was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at age 10. In a bitter twist of fate, Glenn was also diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2016. Together with Co-Chairs Alicia Widom (Mitch’s wife) and Ellen Shapiro (whose son suffers from Crohn’s), and the incredible support of the tournaments many sponsors, donors, and participants, the Keymorada has now raised almost $9 million for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and the UM Crohn’s & Colitis Center.
The fishing tournament takes place each year during the second week of May, at the beautiful Cheeca Lodge Resort & Spa in Islamorada Florida.
