In 1940, Bugs Bunny made his “official” debut when he teamed up for the first time with Elmer Fudd in a Warner Brothers cartoon called “A Wild Hare“.  This was the first cartoon with Bugs Bunny in his final redesign . . . instead of the earlier much more goofy-looking Bugs.
