Madonna has been busy working on her “visual autobiography” and the audition process has started.
Madonna says there have been people who have tried to tell the story of her life, but they haven’t gotten it right so she’s taking on the project herself. She posted an Instagram video of herself dancing to her 1983 classic song, “Burning Up.”
“Auditions for my film are a surreal experience,” she captioned the video. “But I’m enjoying dancing to the classics!”
During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, last October said that the director that previously worked on a biography of her life was “a total misogynist.” “There’s nothing true in the script,” said Madonna. “The guy who is making it has no understanding of women, no appreciation of women, no respect for women.”
