Largo 14-year-old Dev Shah won the Scripps National Spelling Bee last night in Maryland. The winning word was psammophile [[ SAM-o-file ]]. He’s an 8th-grader at Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School, and this was his third time in the competition. Dev called the moment surreal.
