Murder Suspect Believed to be Hiding in Broward County

Authorities in Vero Beach are currently searching for the husband of a woman who was found dead in her home. The incident occurred at the 8100 block of 102nd Avenue in Vero Beach.

The Indian River Police Department says they responded to the home around 7:45 am Sunday, and found the body of 45-year old Vicky Torres. Evidence from a preliminary investigation points to the woman’s husband Pedro Torres as a suspect.

Torres is known to frequently visit Broward County and is believed to currently be in the area. He may be driving a 2011 light green Toyota Sienna with Florida tag Y06IVL.

Authorities warn that Torres is dangerous and may be armed. If you have any information about Torres’ whereabouts you are asked to contact your local police department or the Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS (8477) .
