Stevie Nicks to be focus of first installment of new audiobook series profiling music stars

Courtesy of Rock & Roll Hall of FameRolling Stone has partnered with digital audiobook publisher Audible to produce a series of audio profiles focusing on music legends, Variety reports. The first installment of the series is titled The Wild Heart of Stevie Nicks, and will be available exclusively at Audible starting April 4.

The feature, narrated by veteran Rolling Stone journalist Rob Sheffield, takes an in-depth look at the Fleetwood Mac singer and solo star’s life and music, while examining her ongoing appeal and influence.

To help tell Stevie Nicks‘ story, Sheffield used material from Rolling Stone‘s extensive archives, as well as his own interviews with Stevie.

The Wild Heart of Stevie Nicks is priced at $7.95

Rolling Stone president Gus Wenner says in a statement, “Audio journalism represents a great step forward in longform storytelling for Rolling Stone. We couldn’t ask for a better partner in this space than Audible Originals.”

The release of The Wild Heart of Stevie Nicks will come just six days after the singer will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist. Nicks, who previously was honored as a member of Fleetwood Mac back in 1998, will become the first woman ever to be inducted twice into the Rock Hall.
