Thompson Twins – Hold Me Now

The Thompson Twins were a huge part of the New Wave music scene that was all the rave in the early & mid 80s! ‘Hold Me Now’ uses a varied instrumentation, including synthesizers, a Marimba, a piano and Latin percussion.  The song was released in the United States in February 1984 and became the band’s highest charting single there, peaking at number three on the Billboard Hot 100in May, remaining on the chart for 21 weeks. In addition, the song topped Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play chart for one week in April 1984.
