Not content to bang on the drum all day while in lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic, Todd Rundgren will host a bi-weekly virtual live television series titled The Todd’s Honest Truth that will stream at OnLocationLive.com.
The pay-per-episode program will premiere at 9 p.m. ET on Monday, June 22, which also happens to be Rundgren’s 72nd birthday.
Rundgren’s show will be streamed live from his residence on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, and also will feature prerecorded segments shot in front of a green screen. One segment, dubbed “The Word of Todd,” will feature the prolific and outspoken singer, songwriter and musician discussing various topics.
Viewers also will be able to ask questions to and interact with Rundgren in real time via a live chat window. In addition, Todd will encourage his fans to submit content that he may include on upcoming episodes.
Fans can purchase tickets for the debut episode now at OnLocationLive.com. General admission tickets cost $15, and allow the purchaser to view the show on demand in case they miss the livestream. A limited number of special ticket packages are available for $95 that will offer the viewer a one-on-one video meet & greet with Todd, a personal snapshot photo with Rundgren sent directly to the buyer’s phone and a specially designed The Todd’s Honest Truth merch item.
The second episode of The Todd’s Honest Truth will premiere on Friday, July 3, at 9 p.m. ET, with new installments of the show debuting every other Friday after that.
