WPB Police Investigate Body Found in Canal, No Foul Play Suspected

The West Palm Beach Police are investigating the cause of death of a person found Monday morning in a canal.

Sgt. David Lefont said just before 8 a.m., a witness spotted the body in the water along the 3500 block of Village Blvd.

Police said the death was reported by the passerby as a possible drowning.

So far police do not suspect foul play. The person has been identified as 63-year-old Clemont Robinson, who lived nearby.
