BEST PICTURE: Nomadland
BEST DIRECTOR: Chloe Zhao for Nomadland (which costs $5-million to make) becomes the first woman of color to take home an Oscar for Best Director.
BEST ACTRESS: Frances McDormand for Nomadland
BEST ACTOR: Anthony Hopkins for The Father…The oldest actor to ever win an Oscar at the age of 83. Hopkins skipped last night’s show because he was back home in Wales, and asleep. His agent says he woke up Hopkins to tell him he had won.
SUPPORTING ACTRESS: Yuh-jung Youn becomes the first Korean to win
SUPPORTING ACTOR: Daniel Kaluuya’s role as Fred Hampton in “Judas and the Black Messiah”
BEST ANIMATED FILM: SOUL
HUMANITARIAN AWARD: Tyler Perry
